Woes.
Yesterday I commuted by bike for the first time in what seems like ages.
It was arse.
Usually when I ride I feel really good about it, I enjoy zipping along in the early morning, the feel of exercise, breathing, muscles working, senses heightened.
Yesterday I didn’t really feel any of that. And then, when almost at work, being abused by the driver of a trash van who decided to indicate and turn...

Because there are plenty of places to pick up a bike by its frame without needing a completely extraneous handle.

Now doubtless I’ll be accused of double standards over the whole Lance Armstrong finally being charged with doping and David Millar making it into the British Olympic Team thing.
The way I see it is simply that Millar put his hands up, said “It’s a fair cop” and took his punishment. After that he came back, rebuilt his career and has used his experience to help other...
